MINNESOTA SCANNER FREQUENCIES
Welcome to the East Central Minnesota Scanning page.  I enjoy scanning and designed this site to make it easy for others to listen to public safety frequencies in Minnesota.  Here you can get frequencies, talkgroups, and tones, so you can start listening right away.  We've gathered information from many people right here in Minnesota, over many years.  Click on a link to the left to get scanner frequencies for Minnesota counties.

*****Rebanding In Progress*****
4/10/08
By mid-year, all frequencies over 865 Mhz will be changed!  All of the freqs above 865 Mhz will be lowered by 15 Mhz.  So, 866.000 will become 851.000.  This will happen gradually.  To avoid an interruption in your scanning enjoyment, program all of the new and old frequencies into your scanner now.

A fantastic article, written by Uniden's Paul Opitz, about radio systems, trunking, and your new scanner.

"What The Heck Does That Mean?"
Check out the Terms/Codes page for a long list of commonly used scanner terms.

Can you carry your scanner in your vehicle, legally?

Information for ECMScanning has been gathered from many people, over many years.  It is compiled from the FCC Database and from scanner listeners throughout the state willing to share information.  Because others have contributed to ECM Scanning, I don't copyright information and claim it to be all mine.  Feel free to share information found on ECMScanning and let others know about this site.  This is a hobby that thrives on learning, exploring, and sharing.
